Fashion in senior living: Are older women less fashionable or are we differently fashionable?

I’d say we tend to choose elegance over skimp, quality over glitter, composition over flamboyance. But this is not a change that is imposed or is uncomfortable. Rather one grows naturally into it, I think, as you move from one stage of life into the next. Your fashion is a statement about you – your personality, your emotion, your self-confidence, your choices, what you think about yourself. Not only is your personality reflected in what you wear, but what you wear influences the personality you display.

Regarding wellness : Today’s accepted understanding is that wellness practice should become a way of life, but when you are a senior it is critical. Approaching  your senior years you begin to notice that you are more susceptible to the big changes in body appearance and functioning.
